Colibri Vineyard and Winery is a family owned estate vineyard and winery located in the Chiricahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona. Using environmentally friendly sustainable agricultural techniques we grow seven varieties of wine grapes to be used exclusively in handcrafting our Rhone style wines.
The vineyard is located in a northeast facing canyon at 5225 feet of elevation. Soils are derived from both limestone and igneous rocks, having deep profiles and excellent drainage. Yields are kept low, averaging approximately 3 tons per acre, over 8.5 acres of high density planting (7' x 5').
